This quiz had multiple types of questions on it. The first question was a matching section with 4 terms of mass movement to 4 definitions (4 points). The second and third questions were multiple choice with only one possible answer correct (1 point each). The fourth question was a diagram of a water cycle with 3 key terms missing that the students had to fill in the blanks without a word bank (3 points, one each). The fifth question was a statement on weathering with two blanks that had to be filled in without a word bank (2 points, one each). The sixth question had two parts where they first had to fill in the blank (1 point) and then circle all the possible features the terms could form out of the possible 6, 3 were correct (3 points, one for each correct term, -1 if you had more than one wrong term circled). The seventh question was a fill in the blank again without a word bank (1 point). The total possible points on the quiz itself was 16 points with a bonus question on the board. This question was pulled off of a homework assignment directly, as only 4 students had even attempted that particular homework question. The bonus was worth 1 point for each concurrent benefit and danger of that particular topic that they had. The bonus point is not calculated into their total quiz score but is recorded separately.
